On October 03, 2023, information about Mainstay LLC was entered into the register of audit organizations of the Federal Treasury, which contains a list of companies providing audit services to publicly important organizations. At present, a package of documents has been submitted to the Central Bank for inclusion in the register of audit organizations providing audit services to publicly important organizations in the financial market.
According to Art. 5.1. Federal Law 307-FZ "On Auditing Activities" publicly significant organizations are recognized as:
- 1) public joint stock companies;
- 2) organizations whose securities are admitted to organized trading, as well as organizations whose accounting (financial) statements are included in the securities prospectus;
- 3) credit organizations, head credit organizations of banking groups, head organizations of banking holdings;
- 4) insurance organizations, mutual insurance companies;
- 5) organizations that are professional participants of the securities market, credit history bureaus, clearing organizations, trade organizers, non-state pension funds, management companies of investment funds, unit investment funds and non-state pension funds;
- 6) state corporations, state companies, public-law companies;
- 7) organizations in whose authorized (share) capitals the share of state ownership is not less than 25 percent;
- 8) other organizations that submit and (or) disclose reports in accordance with the Federal Law of July 27, 2010 N 208-FZ "On Consolidated Financial Reporting".
Audit services to publicly important organizations may be rendered only by audit organizations, information about which is included in the register of audit organizations rendering audit services to publicly important organizations.
